Karl Konsdorf is the Director of Research, Analytics and Reporting at Sinclair Community College. He is responsible connecting institutional strategy with data. In addition, he develops the marketing and communication plans for the Business Intelligence program for the college. Aside from leading the Research, Analytics and Reporting department, Karl has been an adjunct professor in the Computer Information Systems department for over 20 years teaching numerous courses in Business Administration, Information Technology, and Data Analytics. Karl and his team have been recognized locally and nationally receiving several awards including the 2008 Best Practices award for Government and Higher Education from the Data Warehousing Institute, the 2010 Sinclair Adjunct Teacher of the Year, the 2015 SAS Excellence in Education Award, and the 2019 Technology First Executive of the Year award. Karl earned his Bachelor’s degree from Wright State University in Management Information Systems and his MBA from the University of Dayton. Outside of his career responsibilities, Karl volunteers his time to serve as a director for the North Dayton and Pathway School of Discovery.
