Thomas Skill (Ph.D.1984 SUNY/Buffalo) is Associate Provost & CIO at the University of Dayton.  He has over 35 years of computing and communications technology experience in higher education and is a tenured professor in the Department of Communication at the university.  Among his many IT interests and responsibilities, Skill leads the university’s enterprise IT organization with over 90 employees and, when time permits, teaches courses on cybersecurity, communication and social engineering. In addition, Skill led the team that established the University’s Center for Cybersecurity and Data Intelligence which serves as a key institutional resource for IT security research and education with a focus on highly-experiential learning and multidisciplinary research.
