Defend Forward: Persistent Engagement Cyber Strategy’s Operational Concept
News reports of US cyber operations to defend our elections, attribution uploads to Total Virus, and degradation of Iranian database capabilities spring from the shift to a US cyber strategy of persistent engagement, which leverages the core operational concept of defend forward. This presentation reviews both the origins of the strategy and concept and how they will help secure US national interests in and through cyberspace.
